Abstract

This paper examines the rapid advancement of technology and its implications for global security, particularly in the context of its use by terrorist organizations. While technological progress, such as the development of drones, the internet, and artificial intelligence, offers numerous benefits, it simultaneously presents significant security risks. Terrorist groups increasingly exploit these technologies to carry out sophisticated operations, posing new challenges for counterterrorism efforts. The research underscores the importance of identifying and mitigating these risks, while recognizing the dual role of technology in both enhancing and complicating counterterrorism strategies. The paper calls for a swift adaptation by law enforcement and security agencies, highlighting the necessity of innovative solutions and collaborative efforts to address the evolving nature of these threats. A multifaceted approach, incorporating both preventive and innovative measures, is deemed essential for effectively managing the intersection of technology and terrorism and safeguarding global security.
