The author of the policy paper, upon its acceptance for publication, acknowledges the following:

  1. Active Contribution: The author confirms active participation in writing the policy paper, including the preparation of both the practical and theoretical content, design, methodological formulation, related proposals, and/or data analysis and interpretation (as applicable), while bearing full responsibility for its content.
  2. Originality of the Work: The submitted policy paper constitutes original work, not extracted, copied, or translated from another language. It has met all conditions in accordance with the policies and regulations adopted by the University. The paper has not been published, submitted for publication, or approved elsewhere under the author’s name in its current form or in any substantially similar form.
  3. Commitment to Revisions: The author undertakes to provide any clarifications, modifications, or additional information as requested by the Policy Papers Editorial Team responsible for publication at the University.
  4. Transfer of Copyrights and Intellectual Property Rights: The author fully and exclusively assigns to the University all copyright and intellectual property rights related to the prepared paper, in the event the University publishes it. This includes the following:
    a. The rights of publication and distribution.
    b. The right to republish the paper in whole or in part, with or without fees.
    c. The right to issue editions and translate the paper into other languages for sale or free distribution.
    d. The right to incorporate the paper into other publications or releases.
  5. Creative Commons Licensing: Acceptance of publication of the paper under the Creative Commons license (CC BY-NC 4.0), unless otherwise notified in writing to the Center.

  7. Withdrawal of Submission: Once submitted to the University, the policy paper may not be withdrawn at any stage—from submission to publication—except with written approval from the University.
  8. Acknowledgment of Guidelines: The author confirms having carefully read the guidelines for preparing and publishing policy papers, and fully agrees to all the provisions therein without reservation.
